At Summer’s Art Studio & Gallery, every day of camp is different. I wanted to create something that keeps kids excited to come back, so instead of repeating the same projects all week, we switch it up daily with new themes and ideas.

Throughout the camp, we rotate through four main creative styles so kids get to try a little bit of everything and figure out what they love.

Here’s what that looks like:

• A new theme every day so it always feels fresh. Including different projects for the older kids to choose from.

• Projects inspired by:

  • the ocean and coastal life

  • nature and earthy materials

  • mixed media and textured art

  • imagination and personal expression

• Hands-on creating with different materials and techniques

• Little outings across the street to Shangri-La for drawing and inspiration

• Artwork they’ll be proud to bring home (not just quick crafts)

• A final Gallery Night where everything they made gets displayed
