Teens Fine Arts Program: 6-Week Course (Ages 12-18)

Designed for homeschool students with a passion for creativity, the Fine Arts Homeschooling Course combines art history, cultural studies, and hands-on studio practice in a professional and inspiring environment.
Each week, students will explore influential artists, artistic movements, or world cultures through engaging discussions before creating original artwork inspired by the techniques, styles, and philosophies they have studied. Rather than simply recreating famous works, students will develop their own artistic voice while learning the foundations of fine art.
Projects include drawing, painting, mixed media, and design while strengthening composition, color theory, perspective, creative problem-solving, and technical skills. Students will also build confidence, expand their knowledge of art history and world cultures, and create a portfolio of meaningful work throughout the session.
Each 2-hour class includes approximately one hour of art history and discussion followed by one hour of guided studio creation. Two 6-week sessions are offered, each featuring different artists, movements, and cultural traditions.
You may choose a drop-in option, if space is available for $45 (register at least 5 hours prior) or a 6-week full commitment for $250. You don't need to attend Session 1 in order to attend Session 2, although it is recommended.
