Service Description

Travel the world through art in this six-week exploration of diverse cultures, traditions, and artistic techniques. Students will discover how art reflects history, beliefs, and daily life while studying creative traditions from countries and civilizations around the globe. Each class begins with an engaging lesson about a different culture and its artistic heritage, followed by a hands-on studio project inspired by the techniques, colors, patterns, and materials unique to that region. Students may explore Japanese ink painting, Mexican folk art, Aboriginal Australian dot painting, African textiles and masks, Scandinavian decorative painting, and other global art forms while creating original works inspired by each tradition. By the end of the session, students will have expanded their understanding of world cultures, strengthened their artistic skills, and built a diverse portfolio that celebrates creativity from around the globe.
