In this beginner-friendly acrylic painting class, you'll explore the fundamentals of still life while creating a finished painting from a carefully arranged display of flowers, fruit, pottery, books, and other interesting objects. You'll learn how to see shapes, mix accurate colors, create depth with light and shadow, and build a balanced composition using acrylic paint. Whether you've never picked up a paintbrush or you're looking to strengthen your painting skills, this class is designed to help you grow in a relaxed, encouraging environment. All supplies are included—just bring yourself and a willingness to create! You'll learn: Composition and object placement Color mixing and paint application Light, shadow, and value Creating depth and realism Acrylic painting techniques and brush control Leave with a completed still life painting and the confidence to continue painting on your own. 1.5 hours and recurring weekly on Tuesdays.
