Neurographic Art
Take a 4-week course on Neurographic Art designed to reduce stress and promote emotional processing
Service Description
Neurographic art is a meditative drawing practice that combines spontaneous lines, rounded intersections, color, and mixed media. Students are encouraged to slow down, focus on the creative process, and transform an initial thought or intention into an expressive finished artwork. No drawing experience is needed. The emphasis is on process rather than perfection. The 4-Week Class Week 1 — Intention & Release Students learn the basic neurographic process. They begin by choosing a simple personal intention—a feeling, challenge, goal, or thought they would like to explore. After writing a private keyword on the back of their paper, they create spontaneous flowing lines across the page. Students then begin identifying intersections and carefully rounding sharp corners into smooth transitions. Week 2 — Connect & Expand Students continue rounding intersections and learn how to expand their original composition by adding additional flowing lines. The focus is on creating connections, balancing the page, and allowing the artwork to develop intuitively rather than planning the final result. Week 3 — Color & Emotion Students begin adding color to the shapes created by their lines using watercolor, colored pencils, markers, or other media. They experiment with blending colors across neighboring sections rather than treating every shape separately, helping the entire composition feel connected. Week 4 — Neurographic Plus: Mixed Media The final class takes the process further. Students incorporate additional materials, textures, collage, paint, metallic details, fibers, or other mixed-media elements. They complete a finished piece that reflects their four-week creative experience. Who Is This For? This series is appropriate for adults who want a relaxing creative outlet, are experiencing everyday stress, want to explore mindfulness through art, or simply want to try a new way of creating. No artistic ability or previous experience is required.
