Learn to Draw People, Poses & Movement Designed especially for homeschool students, this drawing class teaches young artists how to confidently draw the human figure through proportion, gesture, movement and observation. Students will learn how to break the body into simple shapes, capture expressive poses, draw clothing and movement, and develop their sketches into finished figure drawings. Rather than focusing on perfect details, students will learn to really see how the body moves and how artists capture life on paper. Throughout the course, students will explore: • Body proportions • Gesture drawing • Heads, hands & feet • Clothing and folds • Action and movement • Shading and form • Creating a finished figure illustration All references and poses used in class will be fully clothed and age-appropriate.
